A landlubber boards a 34-foot sailboat in Amsterdam with no prior sailing experience and begins a journey towards home — up The Baltic Sea, across the North Sea, down the Irish Sea, into the English Channel, and ultimately the open Atlantic. What follows is not a simple sailing story, it is a journey of battles with obsessive thoughts, fear, and addiction.
The crafted docuseries unfolds over three acts, within the bounds of five arcs — each one a force over the personal journey. As the video essays are released in a non-linear timeline, the chapters are marked along each arc, charting the journey across seas, and plotting a chaotic course through the mind.
